 All orders at LobsterExpress.ca are shipped with FedEx.
Please place your order to correspond with the day you want the
lobsters to arrive. It is very important that someone is actually at the
destination to accept your lobsters and store them properly on the the
arrival day.

Regardless of when your lobsters arrive, they must be cooked and eaten (or cooked, shucked and refrigerated) 24-48 hours of being delivered. Be sure to read the instructions for storing lobsters that comes with your package, or print the following:
Storage
- Keep lobsters damp and cold (they will die in fresh water, but can be wrapped in a wet cloth or seaweed.) Putting them over crushed ice is good. Do not wrap in plastic; they need to breathe.
- Store live lobsters at 2-4 Celsius or 36-40 Fahrenheit.
- Lobsters must be cooked live or killed just before cooking.
- If a lobster is alive when it’s cooked (even if it seems stunned or limp) its tail will curl as it cooks. Cooked lobsters with curled tails are safe to eat.
